Our Services

What is Semi-
Independent Living?

A service designed to provide a level of independence while receiving some support with daily living activities.

Provides the opportunity for individuals to live in a homely environment with others, while receiving support to develop independent living skills.

Encourages the development of social skills, independence, and life skills while receiving the support needed to thrive.

Allows individuals to have more control over their own lives and make their own choices.

Provides support with day-to-day activities such as cooking, cleaning, and personal care, as well as help with managing finances, appointments, and medication.

Suitable for individuals who require some support to maintain their independence, but who are not ready to live completely independently.

Individualized Assistance

Floating support is tailored to the specific needs and goals of each person receiving the service. Support workers or professionals work closely with clients to identify their unique challenges and develop a personalized support plan.

Flexible and Mobile Care

Unlike fixed support services that are delivered in a particular location, floating support is mobile and can be provided in the client's own home or within the community. This flexibility allows support workers to meet clients where they are most comfortable.

Preventive and Rehabilitative

Dew Healthcare Service Limited, Floating support services can serve both preventive and rehabilitative purposes. They may help individuals avoid crises or homelessness, as well as assist those transitioning from institutional care to community living.
